The meeting agendas are compiled and prepared by the Clerk and Recorders Office on the Wednesday of the week prior.  Contact Jeff Greene, County Administrator, at (719) 520-7276 for information on scheduling an item before the Board.

Meeting agendas are posted in the outdoor signboard located east of the front entrance to the County Office Building, 27 East Vermijo Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO. Agendas and links to backup materials and are available at: http://bcc2.elpasoco.com/bocc/agenda.asp 

The County Administrator's deadline for agenda items is 12:00 noon on the Friday of the week prior to the Agenda preparation.    Early submittals are always encouraged.  The second and fourth Thursdays of each month are normally reserved for Land Use items; they are also heard on the third Thursday of the month as needed. 


PROCEDURE FOR ADDRESSING THE BOARD FROM THE AUDIENCE:
Audience members have an opportunity to address the Board either during the Public Comments portion of the meeting (on items not on the agenda), or when the Chair asks for comments during the discussion of a scheduled agenda item. 

Procedures are as follows: 

  • Receive recognition from the Chair.  
  • Step up to the podium. 
  • State your name. 
  • Present your comments or questions. 
  • Sign in. 
Please be brief in your comments to allow everyone an opportunity to speak. 

Time limitations shall be at the discretion of the Chair or the Board. 


WORK-
SESSIONS:
When requested, these public meetings are held in the Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room, County Office Building, 27 East Vermijo Avenue, Third Floor, Colorado Springs, CO, at 2:00 p.m., or another time as designated by the Board.  Worksessions are normally scheduled on the first or third Thursday of each month.
