BOARD OF HEALTH
The El Paso County Board of Health is the governing body for the El Paso County Public Health Department. The Board of Health is responsible for developing public health policies, approving a local public health plan, providing advice to the Executive Director, and overseeing Public Health Department financial matters, among other responsibilities. Regular Board meetings are typically held bi-monthly on the third Monday of the month beginning at 2 pm, followed by Work Sessions when noted on the current month's agenda. Meeting dates may be subject to change and special meetings may be scheduled as necessary. Regular meetings are hosted in the 2nd floor Hearing Room at the Regional Development Center, 2880 International Circle, Colorado Springs, CO, unless otherwise indicated. Meeting dates, times and meeting agendas are posted on the Public Health Department's website at www.elpasocountyhealth.org. Monthly agendas also are posted at the Public Health Department Office, 301 S. Union Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO and at Centennial Hall, 200 South Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO. All meetings are open to the public. |
