PIKES PEAK AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (PPACG) -COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CAC)

The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) and Urban Area Policy Committee's (UAPC) Community Advisory Committee (CAC) was formed to afford citizens the opportunity to be continuously involved in regional planning activities.  The Community Advisory Committee serves as a citizen's advisory body on matters considered by the PPACG such as regional transportation, air quality and water quality.  The committee functions as a "sounding board" for community awareness of various study findings and recommendations pertaining to regional planning.

El Paso County's representation on the PPACG Community Advisory Committee consists of three members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners for three-year terms.  (Job Desc) (By-laws)

Committee meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments, 15 S. 7th Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
