(DFAB) DEVELOPMENT FUND ADVISORY BOARD [Changing board's responsibilities and its title to Development Services Advisory Board (DSAB) in process.] 

The Development Fund Advisory Board (DFAB) reviews, monitors, and makes recommendations concerning the reserve levels and all fees and charges associated with Land Development Review Fee Fund.

The DFAB consists of nine members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners for one-, two- and three-year terms and an unspecified number of non-voting liaison members for indefinite terms.  Appointed members include two active developers, a builder, a consulting planner, a consulting engineer, a citizen-at-large, a business owner, an expert in market research and a representative from Affiliated Commercial Construction Associations.  Non-voting members consist of the El Paso County Planning Commission, the Housing and Building Association (HBA), a fund administrator and applicable county staff.  No person shall serve more than six consecutive years.  (Job Desc.) DFAB meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 3:00 p.m. at the Regional Development Center, 2880 International Circle, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
