JUSTICE ADVISORY COUNCIL (Board is in reorganization process to be placed under Sheriff's Office.)
The Justice Advisory Council of the Pikes Peak Region participates in developing long-range planning recommendations and takes an active role in providing a forum for interagency coordination on criminal justice and community corrections issues in El Paso County.
The Criminal Justice Advisory Council consists of 33 members, all of whom are nominated for indefinite terms, except for the four citizen-at-large positions that are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners for three-year terms. | The council meets on the second Thursday of the month at noon in the Russel Professional Building, 105 E. Vermijo Avenue, 4th Floor Conference Room, Colorado Springs, Colorado. |
